The Information User Association is an international, not for profit educational and service organization comprised of  information technology professionals who use and/or support Advantage CA-IDMS and related products. The IUA has been providing quality service to its members since 1974. An organization for users by users, the IUA's mission is to promote mutual cooperation among users and encourage the free exchange of ideas.

New IUA Board!

The IUA is pleased to annouce that Terry Schwartz was elected to another term of 3 years.  The officers for the Board are: Terry Schwartz - Chair, Laura Rochon - Vice-Chair and Bob Wiklund - Secretary/Treasurer.  The other directors on the Board are:  Gary Cherlet, Craig McGregor, Diane Monstream, Jan Rabaut and Steve Rundle.

When CA requested that the IUA become the PLC (Product Line Committee) for CA IDMS, the IUA was made up of 8 directors:  5 from North America, 2 from Europe and 1 from Australia.  Since a Board configuration of 8 could result in a tie vote, the IUA Board voted  in October 2008 to add another director-at-large to the Board configuration. At an IUA meeting, held on November 17th 2008, the new formed Board vote to appoint Linda Casey to fill that newly created position.   Welcome aboard Linda!!!
